Services

I design and build websites for independent businesses and creative work. Every project begins with a conversation about what your site needs to do and ends with a scope and quote written for that job. You work directly with me from first message to launch.

Most projects fall into one of the areas below. If yours doesn't fit neatly, send an inquiry anyway; the first step is the same.

01

Landing pages

Good fit when you need something specific live soon and don't need a full site yet.

A single focused page for a launch, an event series, a release, a seasonal menu, or a campaign. Built to load fast, explain one thing clearly, and get people to take one action: reserve, RSVP, sign up, listen, or buy through the platform you already use.

Typically includes
  • Content structure and copy guidance
  • Custom design in your existing brand, or light brand direction if you don't have one
  • Responsive build
  • Connection to your existing form, booking, or link tools
  • Basic SEO and share-preview setup
  • Launch on your domain
02

Small-business websites

Good fit when you're starting fresh or the current site can't be salvaged.

A complete site, usually three to eight pages, for a restaurant, studio, shop, or service business. Structured around what your customers look for: hours, location, menu or services, examples of your work, and a clear way to contact or book you.

Typically includes
  • Sitemap and content plan
  • Wireframes for key pages
  • Custom visual design
  • Hand-coded responsive build
  • Image optimization
  • Accessibility and SEO foundations
  • Connection to the tools you use, such as reservations, ordering, booking, newsletter, or social
  • A short walkthrough so you can make simple updates
03

Website redesigns

Good fit when the site exists but isn't doing its job.

For businesses that already have a site that looks dated, is hard to use on a phone, or isn't bringing in inquiries. I start by reviewing what you have, what's working, and what's in the way, then propose a scope: sometimes a focused cleanup, sometimes a rebuild on a cleaner foundation.

Typically includes
  • Review of your current site and analytics where available
  • Content and structure recommendations
  • Redesign of key pages
  • Responsive rebuild
  • Content migration and redirects so you don't lose search visibility
  • A launch checklist
04

Responsive front-end builds

Good fit for designers, studios, and businesses that need reliable implementation.

If you already have designs, a brand system, or a designer you're working with, I can build the front end: semantic HTML, modern CSS, and only as much JavaScript as the project needs. I build to your designs faithfully and flag anything that would hurt usability, accessibility, or performance before it ships.

Typically includes
  • Build from Figma or other design files
  • Responsive behavior across phone, tablet, and desktop
  • Accessibility checks
  • Performance optimization
  • Cross-browser testing
  • Deployment to your hosting
05

Brand direction and design assets

Many small businesses don't have a formal brand, just a logo and some habits. I can set a practical direction for typography, color, image style, and tone so the website and everything around it feels consistent, and produce the assets that come up: social templates, menu or flyer layouts, simple signage or vehicle graphics, and image preparation.

Typically includes
  • A short brand-direction document
  • Type and color choices with accessibility checked
  • A small set of reusable templates or assets agreed in scope

This is intentionally basic. If you need a full brand identity, I'll say so and help you think about scope.

06

SEO and accessibility foundations

Every site I build includes the fundamentals: sensible page titles and descriptions, structured headings, fast load times, share-preview images, a sitemap, and local-business markup where relevant. It also includes accessibility basics: readable contrast, keyboard navigation, meaningful image descriptions, and forms that work for everyone.

Also available as a standalone cleanup for an existing site: an audit with a prioritized fix list, followed by the fixes you approve.

Typically includes
  • Page titles, descriptions, and share previews
  • Heading structure and readable content
  • Sitemap and local-business markup where relevant
  • Contrast, keyboard, and screen-reader basics
  • Prioritized audit and fix list for existing sites

I don't sell rankings or guarantee search positions. I build sites that give search engines and people what they need and I'm clear about what is and isn't within reach.

07

Maintenance, hosting coordination, and technical support

After launch, sites need occasional updates, security checks, hosting and domain renewals, and someone to call when something breaks or a new tool needs connecting. I offer ongoing support scoped to your needs, from a few hours a month for content updates to coordination with your point-of-sale, reservation, or ordering providers.

Typically includes
  • Content and image updates
  • Uptime and form checks
  • Hosting and domain coordination
  • Small feature additions
  • Plain-language advice when you're choosing new tools

Support arrangements are agreed per project.

How a project works

  1. Inquiry

You send a short project inquiry. I aim to reply within two business days.

  2. Follow-up

I review the details and follow up by email with questions or next steps.

  3. Scope and quote

If we're a fit, I prepare a custom scope and quote for your approval.

  4. Deposit and start

A deposit reserves your start date. The remaining balance is invoiced before launch or final handoff.

  5. Build, launch, handoff

I share work at set checkpoints, test on real devices, launch on your domain, and walk you through updates.

Payments are handled through PayPal Business invoices. A deposit reserves your start date. The remaining balance is invoiced before launch or final handoff.

Who this is for

  • Restaurants, cafés, bars, and food businessesIndependent places that need a site people can use to find hours, menus, and reservations quickly.
  • Musicians, DJs, producers, labels, promoters, and event seriesProjects that need a home for releases, dates, mixes, and press.
  • Artists, photographers, creative studios, fashion and vintage brands, and local retailersWork that deserves better presentation than a social feed.
  • Solo service businesses and small companiesBusinesses whose website is outdated, unclear, weak on mobile, or not generating inquiries.

If you're a larger organization or need e-commerce at scale, I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit and, if not, what kind of partner to look for.

What to expect

How much does a website cost?

Every project is quoted after a conversation, because a two-page landing page and an eight-page restaurant site with online ordering are different jobs. You receive a written scope and quote before anything is booked.

How long does it take?

It depends on scope and on how quickly content and feedback come together. Your scope includes a realistic timeline.

Do I need to write my own content?

The words usually start with you, since you know your business best. I structure, edit, and advise, and I'll tell you when a professional copywriter or photographer would make a real difference.

Who owns the site?

You do. Code, content, domain, and hosting accounts are in your name, and I document how everything is set up.

What do you build with?

Mostly hand-written HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on modern static hosting, because it's fast, secure, and inexpensive to run. When a project genuinely needs a CMS, ordering platform, or other tool, I recommend what fits your budget and comfort level.

How do payments work?

Through PayPal Business invoices. A deposit reserves your start date. The remaining balance is invoiced before launch or final handoff.

Can you work remotely?

Yes. I'm based in Brooklyn, NY and work with clients remotely; most of the process runs over video calls and shared documents.
